I did two hikes this week. One trip was a quick run down Tar Creek last Thursday, and yesterday Ruth and I hiked up Matililija. Just getting some R&R and UV. Nothing particularly noteworthy to report except for this guy in the picture. I was mid-way into a long step off a shelf and glanced downward to check my foot placement. This boy was exactly where I my foot was coming down. Needless to say, both he and I were wide awake after that.
And you managed to have enough wits about you to get a picture! Yikes!
